Rites and rituals that challenge taken-for-granted ways of thinking

Welcome to this seminar at KTH in Stockholm, where we explore forms and frames for the upcoming strategic collaboration between RITE Agency and the research group Sustainable Futures Lab (SF Lab)

Rites and rituals are important for all people, but are often overlooked in today’s society. RITE Agency works with rites and rituals that provide aha-experiences, shake things up and challenge the power of habit over individuals and the power of routines in institutions. This opens up relational spaces where taken-for-granted ways of thinking in society can be unveiled and renegotiated. Therefore, RITE has been asked to develop rites and rituals that challenge social structures and cultivate alternative approaches in ways beneficial to the research group SF Lab and the master’s program in Sustainable Digitalisation at KTH.
